Greater Interaction With Others and Organisations

Thanks to the internet business can now start up independently through the internet without the need to travel to meet clients so they can save money to reinvest into the business and can instead video conference with them or contact through email or instant messaging apps or websites and this then allows the company to be able to get in touch with more potential suppliers and be able to appeal to more customers than if it was just a small local shop. It also means that existing businesses can expand on the internet appealing to new customers and making it easier to keep in touch with their customers through regular emails and allow them to even expand to different regions where people may not have access to one of their stores. It also allows customers to give feedback to the company on their products or service and seek help and advice if they have a problem.

  1. the text was shorter than previous blogs but still very informative in what it was saying. the picture was ok but didn't really suit what the text was talking about. the text in all was better as it was easier to read in one go.

  2. Interaction over the internet is great for anybody, not just a business as you don't have to make as much effort to sort out events and activities with friends, talk in general and play games and interact over the internet's facilities.

  3. Another way businesses interact is through social networking sites. Sites like Facebook and Twitter can allow the businesses to communicate to their customers on a free site. Social networking sites allow the businesses to see the customer’s opinions of the products/ services and they also allow the businesses to advertise their product/ service for free.

  4. If used well things like VOIP and instant messaging are great for a business. Where I worked previously, we used conference calls regularly to brief other teams around the world about plans or changes that were going to be put in place and to discuss any issues they would bring so that we could find a solution to them. Allowing the UK base of the company to collaborate with others around the world, was essential in ensuring that the business was unified across the world.

  5. Yes I think social networking is a key point an front for any company or business as it allows for local interaction and advertisement if they're local through pages through sites like Facebook and its cost free! It's also key for the big businesses to get feedback from their customers and promote themselves or sales etc. easily without cost to the business.
